Week-In
This year there will be no official "Week-In" programme, but for foreign guests who would like to arrive a few days earlier or stay a few days after, we can arrange free accommodations with German LARPers. Most of the members of the "Gilde der Drachenreiter" (the LARP club which organizes MittelPunkt 2012) live in the Darmstadt region (see Wikipedia), so most likely this is where we can arrange accommodation for you.
Darmstadt is located in the southern part of the Rhine Main Area, approx. 30 kms south of Frankfurt and also about the same distance from Mainz.
There are direct train connections from Darmstadt to Frankfurt and Mainz (16 Minutes from Darmstadt central station to Frankfurt central station) and also direct bus connections from the airports.

We surely will be able to arrange some sightseeing (for example in Frankfurt) and we can promise that you will be an expert in German beer- and pub-culture when returning home. Please contact the MittelPunkt 2012 organizers at mp2012@drachenreiter.de to support you finding accommodation.
