the clock is ticking, the MittelPunkt 2012 is near, so we would like to provide you with some useful last-minute informations.
Cancellations
if you have to cancel your registration for some unforeseen reasons you should do that by the 9th of January so we can cancel your room at the youth hostel and give you your money back. Past this date it will be difficult for us to cancel the room or find a replacement so you'd have to pay the full accommodation fee.

Fees
Conference fee full board and lodge: 85€
Conference only (no accomodation, no meals): 45€
One-Day-Ticket for Saturday (no meals): 20€
You can check in at your room at the youth hostel from 4:00 p.m. Please come to the MittelPunkt check-in counter in meeting room "Dragons Lair" after arrival. If you are planning to arrive earlier, please drop us a short information.
Foreign guest who are planning their arrival 1 or 2 days earlier or would like to stay longer after the MittelPunkt 2012 can contact us if they need additional accommodation.
Dinner
Dinner on friday will be from 18 h to 19.30 h
Start of the event
The official start of the MittelPunkt 2012 is at 08:00 p.m. You can find the agenda here∞
End of the event
There will be some program on Sunday and it ends with lunch. So please plan in the time for the lectures on Sunday forenoon between breakfast and lunchtime.
The rooms have to be left latest at 9.30 a.m., so please gather your belongings before you attend the lectures on Sunday.
Room selection
Please select your room, if you haven't done yet in our . Youhave to be logged in to get access to the site.
In case you have forgotten your passwort for the wiki you can get it via the reminder∞. If you forgot wour wiki name, please try FirstnameLastname or FirstnameLastname2012. If that won't work just contact us and we'll sort it out.
If you dont't select a room through the system, don't worry you will get your bed, you just have to pick a free one at the MittelPunkt 2012.
Please be informed that we cannot provide you with your desired rooms if you have only informed us of the room you would like to sleep in through e-mail or the comment function of the registration. It only works if you select it via the room reservation system.
Bed linen and towels
Bed linen is provided by the hostel.
You must bring your own towels with you or you can borrow them a from the hostel for 1 € / pcs.
Your first LARP picture
At the MittelPunkt 2012 we would like to host a little riddle in which all of you have to guess who is who on really old LARP photos.
So please bring an old larp-photo of yourself. (Not a data. A real photograph...)
Your face should be recognisable and if there are other people on the picture please take care that their faces are made unrecognizable.
All the pictures will be pinned to a board.
Costume party
There will be a motto party with the Fairytale theme and we hope that you will all dress up accordingly. So, again, polish your glass slippers and dress to impress!
We would also like to do a little costume contest where everyone can win glittering prices, fame and glory and riches beyond your imagination...
Mini-LARPs
There will be a Mini-Larp corner if you would like to host a spontaneous Mini-LARP. You can display there the announcement of the Mini-LARP you'd like to play, with the duration, number of participants etc. We have quite a long lunch and dinner break and most conference rooms can be used for Mini-LARPs during that time.
Cocktail Bar
The Cocktail Bar is operated by the hostel as well as the Bistro, where you can buy coffee, softdrinks, beer and cocktails at reasonable prices.
The bistro will be open from 6.30 p.m. to 12.30 a.m. (but it necessary, the bar staff will also stay longer).
During day time there is a coffeebar at the reception and there are vending machines for soft drinks as well.
Moreover our main sponsor Metwabe.de∞ will be represented with a small booth and offer mead, and mead-mustard for sale.
W-LAN
The youth hostel has his own W-LAN hotspot. It is accessible for a fee of 3€ per day at the reception
Other regulations
Like in very youth hostels you should avoid loud noises in the rooms after 22.00 o'clock and keep the windows closed.
The Hostel is located in a residental zone, so loud noises should be avoided outside the building.
