Here's some information for all those of you whose flights are some days before and/or after the actual MittelPunkt days:
Private Accomodation
Unfortunately, we can't offer central group accomodation free of charge. However, we have been (and still are) collecting private offers by german participants/larpers in general to accomodate foreign guests for the time before/after MittelPunkt at their homes. At the moment we already have a list of volunteers offering possible accomodations. Most of these are located in the Rhine-Main area, but there are some elswhere in Germany. So if there's another city or region better reachable for you, don't hesitate to ask us if there's someone offering accomodation there.
Everyone interested in private accomodation should contact us∞ and tell us their travel data if not already done.
As all this is depending on volunteers, we unfortunately can't guarantee to find a host for everyone (allthough things look quite good right now). We'll try our best to find a suitable host for you and will get you in contact with him/her. If we can't find a host we'll help you of course finding an affordable accomodation in a hostel within range (see also the list of possible accomodations liable to charges on this page).
(Not a) Week In Germany
We won't be able to offer an official "Week In" before MittelPunkt. Anyhow, there are some very nice people who are willing to organise some kind of private Week In in the Rhine-Maine area from January 5th to 8th 2009.
